Colour Logic is the girl you see on this page. My name is Jacqui Teague and I am ''The Team''. I am based in Castlemaine, Victoria, between Bendigo to the north and Melbourne to the south, having relocated after 20 years in business from Paynesville on the Gippsland Lakes in Victoria. Colour Logic has an extensive client base from all over East Gippsland, Melbourne, Victoria, the rest of Australia and internationally as well. I started my own business, Colour Logic, in May 2001, in Tura Beach, just north of Merimbula on the far south coast of NSW. My family and I moved 4 hours south to Raymond Island, near Paynesville and Bairnsdale on the Gippsland Lakes in Victoria at the end of 2013 and more recently to Castlemaine in country Victoria, and Colour Logic has come with us without missing a beat!
Colour Logic has picked up many local clients since moving to the Gippsland Lakes, the biggest being local man Martin Richardson who is The Right Man (Please note: The Right Man's current website was NOT designed by Colour Logic but check back soon with a new improved version that is next on Colour Logic's job list!). The Right Man has provided many graphic and web design opportunities for Colour Logic, including the Paynesville Memories website, Gippsland Ports drink coasters for the local Paynesville Hotel, Paynesville Wine Bar and The Metung Hotel, a brochure for Tommy Norton - the new dredge at Lakes Entrance, case studies for East Gippsland Food Cluster, posters for the Paynesville Football Netball Club, and many more.
Colour Logic has designed many local websites since moving to Victoria including Gippsland Greyhounds on Raymond Island, Koonwarra Holiday Park and Marina Motel Rooms in Lakes Entrance, Ashworth Maritime Services and Anthony Duncan Builders in Paynesville, Bright & District Leisure Tours in Bright and Pets and Potions in Rutherglen. Colour Logic also designed new websites for Paynesville Primary School and Eagle Point Primary School and set up the remote learning website for Paynesville Primary School during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating training videos to teach the teachers how to upload learning materials.
Colour Logic also has many clients based on the Sapphire Coast (from Bermagui to Bega, Tura, Merimbula, Pambula and Eden) as well as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth and in fact all over regional Australia in places such as the Snowy Mountains of NSW, Mornington Peninsula, Paynesville, Eagle Point and Raymond Island in VIC, Currumbin and Airlie Beach in QLD, and Kiama, Uki, Rous Mill and Millthorpe in NSW; as well as clients spread across Alabama, Pennsylvania and Texas in the US. And I look forward to continuing to build my client base in the Gippsland Lakes area, the Castlemaine, Maldon and Bendigo region and greater Melbourne, as well as the rest of the world!
I do all the client liaison, design work, website design and development, web hosting, domain name registrations and renewals, print production, technical support, computer training, quoting, accounts and billing. So, whenever you contact Colour Logic, you can feel rest assured that you are dealing with the one person for all your graphic design, print and website needs. And, by dealing with just one person, you can feel confident that she knows everything about her clients and understands their requirements.
My career began with an Apprenticeship in Graphic Reproduction in Sydney. I was Apprentice of the Year of NSW in 1989 and since then have furthered my career in graphic and web design in places such as London, Germany, Sydney, Perth and North Sydney.
In 2015 I completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to become an accredited teacher of web and interactive design at Tractor Design School and in April 2016 I finalised my 4 year Bachelor of Education degree through Curtin University so am now a qualified school teacher and teach as an Emergency Teacher or Casual Relief Teacher at the local primary schools and high schools whenever they need me.
I pride myself on my high level of customer service. All work is carried out in-house, where I can maintain quality control and ensure that deadlines are met. This approach has enabled me to grow by reputation alone - nearly all of my new business comes as a referral from my existing clients.
I am extremely organised and methodical, and am always dedicated to, and enthusiastic about, my work. Being in the advertising industry for so many years and successfully running my own business for over 20 years, I am no stranger to long or unusual hours. I do whatever is necessary to ensure deadlines are met, details aren't missed and jobs are completed efficiently, logically and accurately.
